Current Projects

Started June 2013 here we are pumping 50 m3 of 25MPa concrete for a cow shed yard, These yards  consume around 100- 180m3 of concrete depending on the size and a typical modern Rotary cow shed will consume 300 – 400m3 of various grades of ready mix concrete.

Foundations poured May 2013 this is a new house being constructed in Makarewa, a different Barn style house with exposed internal rafters and support poles. 60 m3 wad continuously poured in to the floor slab through a pump truck. Concrete Pumps are useful when access to the site is difficult for the concrete trucks to back right into place and the different size pump trucks have various boom reach.  

Completed Jan 2013 we supplied certified 17, 20 and 25MPa structural concrete for the floor and foundations then towards the finishing of the home we supplied a 25MPa exposed aggregate mix for footpaths and patios.
